SWS : Gratitude journal from green to red

grace bailhache gratitude journal motivation

Last week nostalgia Are good days at Mouffetard’s gone ?  is no more in the air, I look into  the future today. Although I knew how important it was to be thankful, I learned only a few years ago the significance of saying it out loud. I had learned on an Oprah’s soul series while she was talking to Sarah Ban Breathnach author of Simple Abundance, about being grateful and writing it down. At first I thought well it’s nice but not really for me. It’s only when I did my mind switch last december that I seek again for this video and challenged myself to carry a special gratitude journal that will mixed up both my personal and professional life. And so..I did… I took a very small note book because I wasn’t really sure to have much to say, and what a surprise, suddenly I started to notice small details and think that actually I probably took for granted before. Such as someone helping you to carry a bag for instance…And when I planned to start a my motivationals mondays on march, my sister offers me this very girly green note book to write down my topic and also as a new gratitude journal. Now  I’m starting my third journal and I can’t wait to fill it.

This weekend is a busy one,  it’s saturday morning here, I’m ready for our picnic day at the lake with some kids and we should be back  tomorrow. Hopefully you’re spending a relaxing weekend  with family, friends, or anyone else you’re thankful to have in your life.

/Update/ Well it’s sunday I entering late to the meme, but better late then never when it’s come to share some love, read some good stuff from all over the world. Who could resist such a proposal ? Not me, I’m running to post my link on cate’s blog here Six word Saturday.

Happy SWS everyone and let me know what you’re thankful of today !

  1. Living with continual anger is an unpleasant experience and may make everyday actions seem difficult. Good idea to copy. Thanks Grace.
