Finally friday I’m pretty exhausted… well that’s that all done as I told you last week while introducting my postcard The Maid of Orléans we have celebrate the 14 of July and I had a memorable independance party. The thing is that I have joined an informal group of young (not that young for me…) which purpose is to help one senior to stay active and engaged in all aspects of community life. I choose the reading part and my senior wanted to go out and enjoy the party too. It’s a long term plan thing and I had to be there few days before and few days after to maintain the link so, this week was very very busy but I loved it and wouldn’t change it for nothing.
Fortunately I’m back on time to contribute to Postcard Friendship Friday and since Beth is back and I know she like so much flowers and roses in particular, I have found in my collection this postcard with a red rose and it’s has been sent to me from Neuchâtel a canton of French speaking western Switzerland. I have never been there, but as I have been told, Neuchâtel region is known as the centre of the watchmaking industry in Switzerland and has become the headquarters for many international luxury. I think I will take a chance to visit this city one of this days and who knows if I could find a way to bring back some fine jewellery, local cheeses or some of Switzerland’s world-famous chocolate ? After all, Neuchâtel is easily accessible by a very efficient rail network and the main train station is approximately 3 hour 30 minutes from Chambery station with one change to Geneva. Hypothetically who want to join me or what would you like me to bring for you from Switzerland?
If you want to join or just see beautiful cards check Beth’s link here Postcard Friendship Friday!

I wish you an happy friday everyone !
Volunteering ? You never told me about that.
If you decide to make a travel to Switzerland and you don’t know what to do or where to go ask me Grace. If you really want to see Neuchatel it’s not a bad idea but I’ll recommand the warmest thermal water to rest after hiking in Gstaad.
