How to dress for a training session on a new job ?

Starting a Work At Home Business doesn’t mean that you don’t have meeting or training to do. Well, fortunately dress codes in the marketing work place are pretty common, especially out of Paris. Oh yes ! Working in Paris and working in the rest of France is as differente as possible. Even if the big cities like Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Lille are more and more close to the capitale fashion, but there nothing like Paris or Milan to have this fashion « work » view in the street.

Anyway. Here in the mountain, thinks are quite different. Even though etiquette still matter everywhere, people are less formal in a certain way. So for my training session last week, I made the choice of a « casual chic » style, something like this. Very practical,  I just changed the color of shirt from white, to blue, purple and rose for the last day.

What about you, what is your work style ?

  1. Hey sis,

There is no need to deny it – what we wear tells a lot about who we are and I remember the eternal question, what should I wear on my upcoming interview? My mom use to say « just look your best : beautiful, professional and competent », I’ve followed. Actually, part time work with my darling, he’s suits and ties every day and I’ve never been so classical in my dresscode, matched pants and blazer navy, gray or black. Most of the time I mix a shirt with softer colors like ice blue, lilac, soft pink, golden beige or ivoryquiet.
I miss the delirious and sexy looks of our babelian’s parties ! still have some pics ?

I think how you choose to dress reflects how you feel about your job and yourself and there are things that professionnal both Woman and man should Never Wear.
