You are likely to ask me why I had no writing on the Ice Bucket Challenge... And honestly I did not see what I would have been able to add more than what you have already read this summer dear readers. But I finally found a way to share with you about this phenomenon unplanned viral campaign that’s exploding from celebrities and your community. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you to catch up the article published in French 2 weeks ago Ice Bucket Challenge : George Bush, Vladimir Poutine et Barack Obama – check it out and don’t worry, you will be able to enjoy at least the videos if you haven’t already.
According to a TIME report, the viral online challenge for ALS has already raised over $50 million. Mission accomplished.
We all know by now that the challenge became an international craze after numerous videos of famous celebrities went viral through the social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I confess that I haven’t seen that much of them, (less then 50) but from what I saw, here are 3 videos that I found really interesting for different reasons.
1°) Funny and original reminder : Charlie Sheen
2°) Absolutely fabulous creative reminder : Bill Gates !
3°) Classy and silently ironic reminder : Sir Patrick Stewart !
Three videos, three different personalities but they all have one thing in common, they all what one thing in commom, they all reminds the world that the ice-bucket challenge isn’t about publicity or celebrities virtually high-fiving each other, but is about giving money to a very worthy cause.

j’ai craqué quand j’ai vu ice bucket et le bill gates m’avait déplu je l’ai trouvé trop prétentieux eu de la chance mais il faudra que je change prochainement, j’aime bien Charlie Sheen mon oncle Charlie et finalement je trouve qu’il a fait fort et il a eu raison c’est de l’argent dont les gens ont besoin pas d’eau glacé
Ah ah merci Valoche pour ton franc parlé. C’est en partie l’une des raisons pour lesquelles j’ai choisi la vidéo de Charlie Sheen, parce qu’il revenait un peu à l’essentiel après la deferlante de stars qui se contentait de se promouvoir sans rappeler le pourquoi de toute cette campagne.
Je ne partage pas ton avis sur la vidéo de Bill Gates, je la trouve au contraire très audacieuse et parfaitement adapté et au personnage et à son standing. Cependant, je peux comprendre ton aversion, heureusement que nous ne pensons pas tous la même choix n’est ce pas ! SouRIRES !

Tant mieux Merveille, Google regorge d’astuces pour ne pas être prisonnier de la barrière de la langue. En fait, je le connais uniquement pour son rôle du professeur Xavier dans la série des X-Men.
I like very much Patrick Steward Prof. Xavier in X-men he really make it different, he is british I think. I don’t know why nobody nominate Dr House that could have been funny and raise a lot of money too.

Whatever you call it, it’s a good thing for the cause. I like the twist of Patrick Stewart but I’m glad that not everyone use it. Money first and more viral is it more money raise.

I absolutely adore Bill Gates and Charlie Sheen videos. But for me MR Stewart has failed the challenge. If everyone did it this way it would not have gone viral, and would have been lucky to raise a little money. Blessings Grace
