Lesson Learned from Les Brown expect the unexpected

Les Brown is a top Motivational Speaker, Speech Coach, and Best-Selling Author, he is one of my mentor and his speeches really empowered me when I needed it most. I want to share a lesson learned from him last year. Indeed, this article was originally posted in February 2013, many of you have not had a chance to read it, or watch Les Brown video related to the topic. This is why I make an update because I believe this lesson could help you too. What exactly means expect the unexpected? At first I really had a problem with this « motto » because the whole phrase in itself negates what it wants to say. Why ? Simply because the unexpected is normally what you can’t prepare or imagine. But once, I heard this peace of motivational moment from Les Brown one of my mentor, it’s occured to me that « Expect the unexpected » ment more or less to be prepared for anything because something unexpected could easily happen. Finally I get the point and from that moment til now, while setting my goals, I accept the fact that things gonna happen that I never suspect, but I’m ready to deal with it, whatever is it. Thanks to this lesson, I try my best to focus on my vision and put besides me the thought « there no problem without solution ».

How was your week my friend ? Good post. In my opinion, God wants us to stop expecting what we expect to get out of life, and start expecting to see Him move in our midst. He wants us to expect the unexpected. Blessings.

My golden rule is know the future. But it is good business sense to be prepared for the possibilities: to expect the unexpected. Of course we cannot provide all the answers, but we can anticipate to react properly.

Wouldn’t it be great to always know what will happen next ? It’s so true once you accepted that the unexpected can happen, finding solutions should be a cakewalk. It’s doesn’t work but that is life Grace we all face it one day or another. Great post again.
