Well actually I move out of my city since yesterday for an important training and lately I get back to listen to two old videos podcasts (30/09/2008 and 07/10/2008) of Daniel Pink on the Oprah soul series talking about his book A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Futures. Years ago, I learned about the difference between right and left brainers, can’t remember exactly in which class exactly but it was at University. Somehow , I also meet the terms while working on some marketing mission, but it was never totally focus on this aspect, it was always a small part of a big issue.
Anyway, I never heard about this american journalist and author before that and I really enjoy listening to him talking about the economic evolutions, our behaviours transformations and most of all the changes in the work contest of our behaviours. I order the book in french last spring and obviously it was a great inspiration at the moment.

Hold your horses, I’m not yet on twitter what are you talking about ? Actually, I think I am both right and left, I just don’t know which one dominate, it’s probably depends on the subjet or the goals ? Actually, you will have to talk to me about the new Pink book. Anyway, I didn’t check the Oprah website for months. I use to have a look on the after show.

For me it’s much ado for nothing. If Oprah didn’t talk about this book no one would have notice this. If a resume of things that we all know the rest is marketing.
Absolutely disagree with you Alphonsyne. Of course, Oprah gave a huge huge spotlight to this book but the interest of it have nothing to do with her « extravaganza » on marketing it. I know what you think but actually you only part of the story and doing what she did with those students is a great idea for me. And what if she can do both her brand and helping, what wrong with that ? I really don’t understand you when it come to thoses questions.
